What will the dairy farming of tomorrow look like? In the Autonomous Feeding Pavilion, you’ll discover how smart feeding robots can completely take over daily feeding tasks. They mix, transport, and dispense feed fully automatically, without the need for daily human intervention.
In the pavilion, leading manufacturers will showcase their latest autonomous feeding systems. Discover the innovative solutions from DeLaval (OptiWagon), Trioliet (WheelBattery), BouMatic (Shuttle Eco), Lely (Vector), GEA (DairyFeed), and KUHN (Aura). Compare the different concepts, talk to the specialists, and discover which solution best suits your farm.
Automatic feeding offers dairy farmers much more than just labor savings. By providing fresh feed several times a day, cows eat more regularly, which contributes to a stable rumen pH, better rumination, and improved animal health. In addition, feeding can be precisely tailored to each animal group, ensuring that every group receives exactly what it needs. This results in more efficient feed utilization, lower feed costs, and better technical performance.
In addition, autonomous feeding systems provide greater flexibility on the farm. Dependence on conventional feeding machines decreases, labor can be deployed more efficiently, and—with electric systems—fuel consumption and emissions in the barn are reduced. Furthermore, various electric feeding robots are eligible for subsidies through the SEL program, making investment in this technology even more attractive.
Autonomous farming also aligns perfectly with sustainability programs and dairy concepts such as “On the Way to PlanetProof” and the Albert Heijn concept, in which efficiency, animal welfare, and a lower environmental impact are becoming increasingly important.
During the trade show, participating manufacturers will explain the technology, share practical experiences, and highlight the benefits for dairy farmers. Visit the Autonomous Feeding Pavilion at booth number 8.09 and discover how autonomous feeding systems contribute to a more efficient, sustainable, and future-proof dairy farming industry.
