GOFAR Scientific and R&D Workshop 2026: agricultural robotics at its best

Are you interested in the latest developments in scientific and industrial research on agricultural robotics? Then join the GOFAR Scientific and R&D Workshop 2026 on the first day of AgroTechniek Holland (September 16) and learn more about four main themes.

The main themes to be addressed are:

• Use of robots and intelligent tools for crop management;
• Crop environment recognition and the generation of synthetic environments for
learning processes and decision-making;
• Safety, liability, and standards for agricultural robots;
• Supervision and interfaces for user-friendly interaction between humans and robots.

The workshop highlights groundbreaking developments in agricultural robotics and related technologies and provides a platform for collaboration between industry experts, researchers, and students. This special edition in the Netherlands is part of the AgroTechniek Holland agricultural trade show, which brings the sector together to share knowledge, innovations, and best practices. International researchers—including researchers from Wageningen University & Research | Vision + Robotics—will present their latest findings within the four themes mentioned above.

The workshop is intended for innovators and “early adopters” of new technology, professionals from the agricultural tech sector, and students from universities of applied sciences and research institutions. Registration is required and can be done here; there is no cost to participate.

Date & time: September 16, 2026, 9:15 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
